Henry Foster
Founder
Henry has 20 years of experience in fund management and distribution across UK and European markets. Most recently, he spent a decade at Troy Asset Management where, as a shareholder, he was responsible for European markets, UK institutional and wholesale, and the Channel Islands. Before Troy, he held distribution roles at Harrington Cooper, Neptune Investment Management and Western Asset Management.
Henry graduated from Newcastle University with a BA (Hons) in History and holds the Investment Management Certificate.

Matthew Nesbit
Advisory Board
Matthew brings 15 years of fund management experience to Ravenspoint Capital's Advisory Board, having held senior roles at Aviva Investors, Goldman Sachs Asset Management, and Janus Henderson.
At Janus Henderson, Matthew was responsible for over £5 billion in assets, focusing on global private banks and UK discretionary wealth managers. His expertise spans multiple asset classes including hedge funds, convertible bonds, and real estate, working with sophisticated institutional analysts and investors.
Latterly, Matthew has been helping to run a family structural steel business, bringing a broader commercial perspective to Ravenspoint Capital, alongside his investment industry experience.
Matthew holds an MA in Business Studies from Edinburgh University, the Investment Management Certificate, and has completed a Private Equity course at Imperial College Business School.
Richard Thompson
Advisory Board
Richard has over 30 years' experience in the asset management industry, working in marketing sales and distribution. Richard founded Spring Capital Partners in 2004 which was successful in raising substantial assets under management for a number of early-stage managers. He exited the business in 2021. Previously Richard worked at GT Management in the 1990s and then Invesco, serving as Managing Director of International Development before leaving in 2003.
